To protect you from wind and rain, as well as to reduce the use and impact of hazardous chemicals, we have chosen to treat several of our water-repellent products with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO.

What is BIONIC-FINISH®ECO?

Developed by RUDOLF GROUP, BIONIC-FINISH®ECO is the latest technology to environmentally friendly treat products to make them water-repellent by imitating nature. The key to this technology lies in hyperbranched and water-repellent polymer with branched structures, as in tree crowns crystallized on specifically adapted comb polymer.

In addition to imitating nature’s water-repellent structures, BIONIC-FINISH®ECO also provides water repellency without containing fluorocarbon – just like in nature. This environmentally friendly solution does not emit fluorine-organic compositions into the atmosphere, thus helping to ensure a better future for the environment and you.

When you buy a DOGSOME® product treated with BIONIC-FINISH®ECO, you can be sure that it is made of materials that are free of hazardous substances such as fluorocarbon or formaldehyde. Still, BIONIC-FINISH®ECO’s amazing water-repellent properties still hold good breathability.
